Mallory Kappmeyer

Mallory was born in Colorado and went to Colorado State University for her B.S. in Landscape Horticulture. While studying abroad in New Zealand, she met her future husband. They moved to Idaho Falls about 15 years ago. She received her M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho. 

Over the years, she has enjoyed teaching in outdoor education and traditional classroom settings. She started at Alturas as a paraprofessional and has worked at a Montessori school. She also volunteers her time to help organizations with STEM outreach programs. 

Mallory is excited to be a part of the Alturas Team. She is committed to providing students with the tools and support they need to embrace challenges and reach their full potential.
